Creative Flash Mounting

So I wanted to put a flash on a pillar in order to light a band I was shooting at a little coffeehouse. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any gaff tape or anything of the sort, and the establishment wasn't that helpful. So I came up with an idea off of my own back. It worked.

That is one [1] medium Orange Eskimo Joe's t-shirt tied to a post, holding a flash there. It worked good, and didn't slip the whole time.

On top of that, I think it produced a pretty decent photo. If only the background boy hadn't moved into the back of the mic stand at the last moment, I'd be extremely pleased with it.
Henceforth: be creative. Be prepared to do silly things.

Overdue Portrait Blogging Drop

Haven't posted in a while. Haven't shot a ton either... just a few portraits, mostly.

First off, one that I took outside of school...
Then one that I took that ran...

Then one (two) I took that has yet to run. Flash vs. No-Flash.
